Observation data

The buyer app and downloaded offline file do not send your observations to us. They have no analytics, cloud storage or household sync. Records stay in tab memory unless you choose “Save in this browser”. That option uses localStorage on the device. Opting out removes this product’s browser copy while keeping the current tab’s notes in memory.

The buyer URL is not authentication. Anyone with it can open an empty tool. Saved browser notes can be accessed by someone using the same device and browser profile; they are not encrypted by this app. Do not put private observations in URLs.

Backups and loss

JSON, CSV and printed files contain the observations you choose to export. You control where you save and share them. JSON is a full backup; CSV and print use your selected date range. Delete files through your device’s file manager. Clear log removes the active records and draft; with browser saving enabled it also writes an empty browser copy. If storage is blocked, the app warns you and cannot guarantee removal of an existing browser copy. Use browser site-data controls to remove it.

We cannot recover records lost when site data is cleared, a private window closes or a device is lost. The offline file has separate storage. Keep regular JSON backups.

Website, checkout and support

Opening the website sends ordinary request information such as IP address and browser details to our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Public marketing pages may use the site’s first-party aggregate visit counting. Buyer pages under /d/ are excluded from that tracking. Observation entries are not included in those requests.

Checkout is currently unavailable. If you later follow an enabled payment link, the payment provider will process purchase information under its own policy. No card data is collected in the log. If you email support, your email provider and ours process that message. Include an order reference for purchase questions; avoid sending private observation backups unless needed and agreed.
