For cat caregivers / A manual observation record
Keep what you saw.
Share the right dates.
Cat Water & Litter Observation Log keeps the cat, observer and time beside each note, then gives you a dated handoff to print.
When one person refills a bowl and another checks the litter box, a detail can lose its context. Record the observation without guessing which cat was there.
$9 USD once. No subscription or account.

What you get
Note. Bound. Hand off.
- Note the observation. Name a cat only if you know. Keep observer initials, water, food and litter context together. Edit a record when you need to correct it.
- Bound the handoff. Choose an inclusive date range. Decide whether to include unknown dates separately. Print that selection or export it as CSV.
- Keep a portable copy. Download a full JSON backup, restore it with replacement confirmation, or use the self-contained offline HTML file in your browser.
No charts, targets, alerts or diagnoses. No automatic household sync. This is an organizer for observations you enter yourself.
Try the format
Start with a blank page.
The free sample includes the synthetic note above and a blank observation sheet. Use it on paper, or copy the same fields into Notes or a spreadsheet you already have.
The paid tool adds editable browser records, date-filtered print and CSV, and full backup/restore. If your current notes already do that job, keep using them.
Before you buy
What this will not do.
Will it tell me whether my cat is well?
No. It does not assess hydration, identify disease or tell you when it is safe to wait. Never delay veterinary contact to fill it in. Food contains water, so drinking alone is not total intake.
Can my household share it live?
No. Use one editing tab at a time. Send a printout or CSV for a handoff; transfer a JSON backup manually to continue editing on another device. Import replaces the whole log after confirmation.
Where are my notes saved?
In memory until you opt into saving in that browser. Private browsing, cleared site data and device loss can erase records. Download JSON backups and store them somewhere you trust. The offline copy starts empty and uses separate browser storage.
What if I prefer my old notes?

What browser and limits apply?
The tool uses a modern browser with JavaScript. The local build has been exercised in desktop Chromium, including narrow layouts. Up to 1,000 observations and 2,000,000 UTF-8 bytes per full backup; notes are limited to 2,000 characters. Files over the limit are rejected, never shortened. There are no attachments.
How will access work?
After payment, checkout redirects to the tool and offline download. Save that link and the file. The private-looking delivery URL is not an authenticated account: anyone who has the URL can open the empty tool. Your notes are not embedded in that URL. No emailed-download service is promised.
